Haven Holidays - Activities & leisure
Throughout our time shooting with Haven over the last few years, we’ve had the opportunity to get stuck in to so many activities it’s only right to put them all in one place.
From the heady heights of the Aerial Adventure and ‘The Jump’, to crazy golf, spooky Halloween nature trails, Easter arts & crafts and swimming pools galore - we’ve done it all. And so have our brave photographers and motley crew (thanks guys!).

Are you getting in?
Indoor pools, outdoor pools, slides, lazy rivers - we’ve done the lot. It’s always a challenge but we love how these shots turn out - you can’t make those smiles up, whether it’s little kid or big kids. Or photographers in budgie smugglers.
It’s not all fun and games!
Alongside all these energetic activities like crazy golf, tennis and bike rides, we’ve also shot loads of more low key and calm activity moments for Haven. Arts and crafts are one of our favourites, as an opportunity to get crafty ourselves! In the Easter and Halloween shots below, you’ll see loads of our homemade props - from Easter eggs to carved pumpkins and painted pebbles, we make sure to get involved ourselves to give the props in these shots the most authentic look possible.
Lighting can be frightening
This Halloween shoot posed a different challenge for us - shooting inside a huge cavernous entertainment space with low entertainment lighting. This made it tricky to get the right balance between lights that looked realistic for the activity and lights that came across correctly on camera - for stills and for video. Thankfully the legend that is Marcus the gaffer was on hand to help us manage this, alongside photographer Katie and video team from UltraSharp.
